Though the 3 goal lead (till the end) might have been why they didn't use him.
Julien said he made the trip to MTL. Hopefully he'll play. CJ said he was "alright"

I believe we're looking at the quadruple of Begin, Kostopolous, Lapierre, and BGL. Should be interesting...

Just like in Boston, I want the Bruins to give the Habs a big bad beating on the scoreboard and on the ice. Having Kosty carried off the ice on a stretcher would be... sorry Mods, I know I"m not supposed to wish injury on an opposing player.

Hey, Drury. I think you mispelled the name of the stadium. Shouldn't it be spelled Belle Center because of all the divers on the Habs ?

Mark my Word, like the first game between these two team, Thornton will go directly to Laraque and fight him at the first occasion. Thornton know fighting Laraque it's his job not the Lucic one.

I too want to lay a fat beatdown on the habs. 72-0? Is that too much to ask?

Wishing injury on anybody...not cool.

Should be a fun game to watch, I think its a big one for both teams (Montreal more so)

If Boston could get another win against Montreal, any thought of Montreal dominating Boston will be gone (its already close to being gone). Also it will be a huge win, against a pre-season favorite. Wins like that can really propel an up and coming team. I remember 2 games like this for Montreal last year and the wins gave them huge confidence boosts and helped get them to the #1 seed.

Montreal is clearly playing poorly, despite the fact they have managed to keep getting some wins lately. A loss would be devastating and a huge team win against the high flying bruins could right their wrongs and get this team playing like they should.

Either way it should be fun to watch. I don't think it's going to get near as dirty and fight filled as some fans think/want. Montreal needs to play with speed and skill the only revenge on their mind will probably be on the score board. I expect a back and forth fast, skillful game. With some big, but clean hits.

Portland fans will see him in a month on successive nights w/ the Remparts....

NHL Network will show the retirement ceremony of 33 @ 6pm, SINCE NESN won't come on till 7 for those who have both networks....

The refs will give Montreal every chance in the world to win. Should be interesting to see if the B's can overcome all the phantom penalties they'll be taking tonight and win the game.

Speaking of Johnathan Roy, some clown on the scab board said they should dress him tonight because he could take care of Lucic...

Do you know how hard it is to not respond to those guys...

I really don't think I can wait until 7:40 for the puck to drop. These games/this rivalry get me so amped up. This game really could be the biggest game of the year for both teams. If we win, and we do it in dominating form, the confidence in that already excited locker room would be boiling over. I think that if we do win, the Habs really might start to drop lower in the standings. They have not been playing great hockey this year, but still have been getting wins. I could see this really shaking their confidence and sending them in a downward spiral. However, if they win (please no) it could pump them up and they could go on a nice run themselves. Either way, I am excited and anxious. GO GO BLACK AND GOLD

"Boston penalty, bench minor, Too Many Men On The Ice

Boston penalty, number 33 Zdeno Chara, minor penalty Unsportsmanlike Conduct and a Game Misconduct.

Time of the penalties, zero seconds.

after reviewing the play, it's a good goal!"
