Jiri Hudler has been great for me in my pool, one of my best picks in the later rounds. His play at the WJC's impressed me and when Detroit signed him I knew something was up. Something tells me we're seeing the next offensive star for the future Wings. That is if they are smart enough to resign him.

Has nothing to do with them being smart, it's being able to fit a large increase to Zetterberg and Franzen. Their increases alone will equal the salary we pay hossa, plus we will need to resign a few more players. PLus to add the cap is expected to go down a million or two, which will make it even harder!....that's what she said...

he's a bottom liner who can play PP. nothing more.

if rocketing the puck in the net is stupid. I know it was on a delayed call, but still.

Is the main board really supposed to care about Jiri Hudler? I know I don't.

Great, great, he's racking up some points. Great thread for the main board. Yawn.

Agreed. The main board is reserved for Sean Avery and how bad the refs are. Not Jiri Hudler!

yeah, not really ES. i like hudler on PP, i like him as extra attacker and i like him with limited ES ice-time. i just don't like him with increased ES ice-time because he usually does nothing but doing stupid stuff.
hudler is a nice tool you can use to be succesful. but nothing more.

Anybody point it out that Hudler shouldnt have even been on the ice for his GWG? That was about as much of a "trip" as the "trip" on Iginla was. Totally unintentional, they more or less fell on their own ass, the both of them. Horrible calls. Dont get me wrong, Hudler is fantastic and all, but the calls or wouldbe calls involving the play were really shady.

Translation: I want to take away from someone's accomplishment with whining about a call I didn't like.

Those homer refs trying to get the Wings to win the game. How dare they!

Stupid? Like giving Fil the puck so he can kill time along the boards? Stupid like that?

You should see the horrible call on Zetterberg when he tripped Iginla accidentally, I guess karma got back and we took advantage of it.
