The most comparable, recognizable player I can think of for Mancari is Trent Hunter.

The easiest way to not draw up a comparison of two people would be to not mention a name. The poster already said "very good hands and a nose for the net. Tough to move out of the slot, average-slow skater and way more of a finisher". You've got the details of the skill set right there, so people can agree or disagree to that without bringing the name of a 50 goal all-star up. Once you bring a name in, of course its going to draw comparisons to that person. I think it's just silly to criticize people for doing it.

Kind of like how I think it's silly defending it. Buffaloed mentioned Trent Hunter. Honestly, how many people know Trent Hunter's gameplay style? Most of the people know who he is, but unless you actually watch hockey outside the Sabres (which some people on this board don't), you're not going to know Hunter's game. Is it a more realistic comparison? Of course it is, but unless you know how Trent Hunter plays the comparison means nothing. Meanwhile not too many people don't know the game LeClair plays, making that comparison of STYLES (not skills) easier to understand.

So, is Mancari up for good, or does he gets sent back soon? He's got a wicked shot, and seems to play alright.
