BOOOOOTTTTTHHHHH He never stops. Not to ride Horton...but I will...how often does he score on a shot like that. Maybe once this year vs. Ottawa. Horton needs to hit the net/spots like Booth just did there.

See what happens when we waive a player, they play great lol.

That line has such good chemistry, its sickening. I know we have the lack of depth at the forward spot, but that line should of never been broken up. Like Goldie said, they counted for I believe 43% of our goals last season.

PB/myself were two of the few here that stressed that point pre-season.

Frolik is one of the more complete players on this team already. He skates hard, forechecks, backchecks and has a lot of offensive abilities.

Lou Lamariello at the game tonight with Bobby Orr. I'd bet they're scouting Bouw.

Jesus Christ! When this team shows up and skates, they freaking play well. Big suprise there!

Best shift Stewart has had in the NHL right there, anyone else agree?

He's getting better every game.

We are just totally outworking Carolina. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised.

I am loving the aggressiveness to get to the puck tonight and the backchecking has been fantastic.

Who else plays two minutes a game for us who we can waive? This is another one of those games that all makes us scratch our heads. Why cant they play like this all the time. Is it being at home with 10,000 fans cheering them on, i just dont know.

Another test within this test is how we respond in the second period. We've had periods where we've played well and have come out flat to start the next period (as recent as New Jersey). Also, we know a 2-0 lead isn't safe with Carolina.

The team looks absolutely sensational tonight. All the players look alert, focused, and determined to win. Let's hope this is the start of something big.

You got that right. I opened this thread and had to do a double-take to see who's team board I was on.

If they keep up this aggressive play, they might end up wearing the Canes down. That's a big "if" though...but they are looking excellent so far.

Anyone else notice Olesz high-five some of the fans as he walked down the tunnel?

He definitely respects and acknowledges the fans...nice to see that in a player.

You should have requested a quarter everytime they use it.

Orr is a player agent and Lamoreillo is in town and probably has nothing better to do.

If only we could scoop up Parise. I'd be ecstatic.
