Goalie Question

I've noticed that Leclaire hasn't put up great numbers lately and Mason has. In my fantasy league I just picked up Mason, is Mason taking the starting the job or is it still Leclaire's? Thanks

No, the job is still Leclaire's. Mason will get some starts though.

So would 60% Leclaire and 40% Mason be an accurate guess?

At this point, yes.

Unless Pazzy gets hurt again (word to the wise)

Yeah, you could probably just replace unless with until.

I don't know because since Leclaire has came back from his injury it is Mason 1 Leclaire 1 and Mason gets the start Wednesday. So it looks like a dual headed monster. Whoever is playing better gets the start. Seems to me it is Mason's net to lose not Leclaires.

It's not necessarily who's playing better. Pazzy is still #1. It's been a standard on this team, if you get a shutout, you get the next start. Pazzy played a fantastic game before Edmonton, then layed an egg, which is OK. and all goalies are allowed a few of those games. My concern is Pazzy hasn't played in a while, his last game was bad and then we're throwing him an away Wings game. He's getting some of those crap games Freddy got last year. Hopefully he will pull us through it, because we'll need a great net friday.

I don't think you'll really get a straight answer to your question, because we don't know. The decision lately has seemed to be game-by-game.

Hitch said Mason will start Wednesday. We've got (another) back-to-back this Fri (A - Det) and Sat (H - Was). Hitch hasn't said anything concerning who will start after Wednesday. My guess is, they would each get a game.
