Ill Gladly take Oscar Moller over Callahan, Dawes, Fritsche, and Prucha. Kid is going to be great for LA

How about Kozlov from Atlanta..........he would be a nice fit for the Gomez line...........

wonder if Atlanta would do a deal for Rozi? or maybe it would take younger players..........It would be tough to give up Dawes for him cause i think he will turn into a good player

U know real top line players. I don't think we can say we have a real top line player on this whole team. Zherdev is borderline.
Gomez (70 points last year) isn't a top line center? If Zherdev is bordeline, Gomez is certainly borderline or better.

I know I'm beating a dead stick because you hate him though.

Hold on, if a 70 point season for Jagr was bad and got him the boot for asking for the kind of money we gave gomez, how is a 70 point season from Gomez great with him making more than we would have had to give JJ?

Also Gomez is on pace for 56 points this year. What sounds anything first line about that?

Hate him or love him you have to realize we aren't getting the bang for our buck.

We knew that with signing Gomez and Drury. We will never get the bang for our buck.

Gomez will get about 65 this year and Drury 55.

But overall no one is scoring. And gomer isn't that person who is know to do that. He is a set-up man. And a very good one. If we can just get a winger that he can work with. He would b a 80 point player. What he is on track for means nothing. I mean drury had no goals for the first couplegames n now he's one of our top scorers. Players get hott we need someone who can play with gomez

As for players I want

Parise
Bobby ryan
Dustin brown

But right now ill take n e one that has scorig talent with some speed. Because oce we get one. And one that can work well with gomez. I think we can be a real threat. I feel like 1 piece of the puzzle is missing and when we get it at the trade deadlie. We can be a force in the playoffs because we know defence wins championships ( see giants last year)

Kevin Bieksa to strengthen our defense in every aspect and to provide some shots and scoring on the powerplay.

I was thinking about Kozlov as well. I'm starting to like these Russian players. I love their finesse and speed game. I was also thinking Antropov from the Leafs but I doubt that will happen.

Antropov would cost alot more.......maybe a Gomez deal so yea not gonna happen

Kozlov makes total sense, he is older at 36 and the Thrashers are going to need a few yrs to rebuild

I was thinking they may have interest in Rozi for their D to pair with Bogosian............Rangers also have some young players

I would hope Prucha, Fritsche,Rozi for Kozlov , Exelby BUT that is my biast Ranger fan hope, hah

idk, we would have to give up Rozsival, Dawes, Prucha, Rissmiller, and I'm not positive but we may have no choice but to give up some future considerations and a pick. But I'd say what the heck and just do it.

seriously though what about St.Louis. This guy always kills us. He may as well come join us. Or would Lecavalier fall into a deep depression with major crying bouts if that were to happen. I don't see Tampa going anywhere. Even with a new coach.

That second line just isn't cutting it. I love Callahan and his game but right now I still think he's a 3rd line winger in the NHL. We need someone for Gomez.

11/26/08 article in the Sun.

The Toronto Sun has it that Tampa Bay is cleaning house and would probably even ask a player like St.Louis to wave his no trade clause. That's why I mentioned his name. That would fill our void on rw and someone who is a bit more of a natural goal scorer to play with Gomez. I wonder what the asking price would be though.
