I've been wanting Carbo to put him in the shootout. Great news!

Awesome! Instead of Tanguay we'll have Begin for the next dozen or so

...Bégin?
Anyway, Sergei deserves a shot; I don't think he's had many attempts over the course of his career thus far (at least, I don't remember them).

Is anyone surprised by this ?! I don't know why Carbo hasn't put him in Shootout so far.
Sergei Kostitsyn is just too talented, you guys hasn't seen anything from him yet.

It's Bouillon, not Bégin.

I know, he has been pretty invisible lately.

He scored on the Penalty Shot against the Rangers on Super Sunday. Pretty much the same as a shootout.
Nice shot under the bar

Shutout. Sergei Kostitsyn is now the starting goaltender in their next game.

Hell - If Begin won, why not put him in? People need to realize shootouts and real games require slightly different skills. I hate this logic that you have to be a scorer to go. Streit was from all reports the best last year and very rarely got tried.

pressure situation vs non-pressure situation.
Im sure when there is no pressure that Bouillon can light them up, but I doubt he would be able to do the same in agame.

Some people need to chill out on bashing posters, stick to the post and the topic on hand. Please do not make more work for a shortened mod staff, it's not going to end well for you.

My choices for the next shootout would be Koivu, S. Kostitsyn, & Plekanec. Having Plekanec try and maybe scoring a goal might just give him some confidence to break out of his slump.

Totally agree with this. Alexandre Burrows skates by, says hi and pots it top shelf! Jarkko You-Know-Who-Tu waves hello between dirty elbows too.
