Fan A+??????? for trying to get a 24 year old kid out of Montreal... I bet everybody will be saying in 3-4 years : When O'byrne was in Montreal, I really thought he was going to be a beast... I just can't believe Gainey put him on waivers Gainey should be fired for that...
Fans should just stop going there if they can't react to anything. Maybe we'll start appreciating the fans a little more for giving us the opportunity to always be near the cap....

Amen! Praise the Lord! What happens in the Bell Center is representative of this board: 5% of bad apples make the other 95% look like immature, whinning pr**s. Unfortunatly, those 5% seem to be the loudest.
I just came here to give O'Byrne and Brisebois Fs. Honestly, if a kid screws up and fails a class, they don't just pretend it didn't happen (well, they shouldn't but stuff like No Child Left Behind exists to screw up education even more). O'Byrne has potential and he deserves another chances, but his actually performance is close to an F. Brisebois, even if he plays decent enough at times to keep the boo birds awaay, that doesn't excuse the rest of his play...
You have the world upside down. The fans deserve an F for booing Ryder, Streit and O'Byrne.
The forwards have been the big disapointment...A.Kost S.Kost Higgins Plekanec and Kovy have all under performed to different levels. Koivu and Tanguay(apart from the last 3-4 games) have had strong starts. C-
On defense, the only negative is Komi who had a poor start then got hurt, in general the defense has been fine, they need more help from the forwards controlling the play like the last 2 games 4 GA in 130 minutes. A-
Price and Halak have both been up and down. CP seems to make great saves then misplay an easy shot, still developing and we have high expectations. B
The guy scored in his own net, that tied it and ultimately led to our defeat. This happened in Mtl.
Of Course he's going to get booed!!!..
Felt bad for the kid, but wtv, that's part of playing in Mtl. Time goes on, and he'll have his chances to redeem himself. Even if he still makes mistakes, I feel he's been playing better.
An A+ for the fans is ludicrous. We have the most knowledgeable fans, but that doesn't deserve an A+. To boo former players who left either for their own personal financial reasons or forced off the team or a combination of both is totally classless. Yes it's a minority of fans, but in our grading system we seem to pass no faults, and this is a pretty huge fault, so I'm sorry the best grade I can give us is a B+. Maybe if we work hard, and try to be good fans and not a megalomaniacal mob, and have a bit of class we may get to an A- . If we can manage to win a playoff series and not rip our own city apart, then maybe we'll deserve an A+, not until then.
F is way too harsh, all our D is Plus players with the exception of O'byrne.

Much to be desired, many haven't hit their stride and there is no balanced scoring.
Coaching: C+
Has failed to motivate the team on a consistent basis and PP needs adjustments. Andrei should be gone from Kovalev as well once and for all.
Fans: B+
I get booing streit, he wanted specific many and specific positions. The habs saw value in him being a versatile player, once he took that away, he wasn't worth the price tag. I don't blame him and I can't even if i wanted to, but we gave him a chance, and it left a bitter taste in habs fans mouths now that our PP isn't working. Hell, I'd even understand if people boo souray, his "unfinished business" made us keep him at the deadline and he walked away because we didn't offer enough and went to markov first? Minus however for Ryder, he never complained, got one year deals all the time and led our team in scoring a couple years. He didn't play well his last year, we let him go, he didn't even get an offer, why boo him?
