I totally understand your thinking BH. But we're in a slump right now, and Carbo's trying anything to snap the guys out of it. If we were on a roll and Carbo wanted to play this trap, I would definitely agree.
But we need wins right now, and a win over the Wings is a great start to rebuilding our teams confidence.

OMG, it's a Christmas miracle come a month early! Is this a back-from-a-road-game-hangover for Detroit? Or is it the Habs galvanized by the O'Byrne incident to play an inspired game? A little bit o' both, add in some tremendous heart. And the economic woes leaving empty seats in Detroit has allowed for Hab fans to invade the Joe for the first time since... geez, since the Wings were lousy in the first half of the 80s is my guess. Now DON'T LET UP!!! This is Detroit we're talking about. Just get to the Intermission with the 3 goal lead, or more if we're lucky.
