i think Chi-town fans are getting carried away with the "Khabby is awesome now, lets trade him for good players/picks"

Yes its fair to say he no longer has negative trade value....but his contract IS still way too much for his level of play. At the deadline? You might get a decent prospect or pick for him, but righ tnow he still has about $5m of his cap hit left......he won't get much more than a throw-away if anything.

But Chicago def wouldnt have to add to Khabby anymore to trade him.

Hawks fans DO NOT WANT to trade Khabibulin. He is our STARTING GOALTENDER.

I don't know how much more clear we can make it.

But in the end it's not about what the fans want, is it now?

Guess not, but if we go off that logic, everyone on this board should be mailing these to their GMs, not posting it for us, yes?

You know, I don't know how people who obviously work in sports journalism can't see that the Devils goalie ISNT THE PROBLEM. We have proven we can play without Brodeur. Now we need the rest of the team to step it up a level if we want to stay in contention. Our problem last night was a mixture of defense and not scoring. The Devils need to stay awake, ok Clemms let in a stupid goal but 4-1 2-1, a loss is still a loss
