I think we won the moral victory during that PP

well that PP looked dangerous for a bit.. atleast we were shooting the puck

come on Dallas, pick up the effort you can't really afford to lose again

I'm going to be mildly excited that Daley got some PP time.

The 2nd unit maybe received 20 seconds and Tippett may have thrown out Daley and Robidas just because they are normally partners.

I'm holding out hope that he gets consistent 2nd pair minutes on the point on the PP.

is it just me or is the only thing we are lacking is the killer blow...we skate and go with teams, all game...we just cant make the shot to beat the goalie to take the wind out of the opposition...

I think if we can find a way to get that back, things will start to align for this team...

Last year it was called Morrow-Ribeiro. This year we have nothing. We don't have a dominant line to pick up the slack. This team is missing its captain and its identity.

pretty much... nothing seems to work out for Dallas, they make plenty of chances for themselves but they very rarely develop for them. It's frustrating to watch because you know Dallas shouldn't be this bad but you can't figure out what they can do to be better

**I mean you can say stuff like "less turnovers" and "Marty has to be better!" but that's basically the same as saying "The team has to try harder", statements like that don't really mean anything

oh great a fluke deflection.. just what we needed

I think it's safe to say Dallas needs to score fairly soon in order to have a chance in this one.

Time for some puck poise jokes since Skoula scored.

you know, when's the last time you've seen Dallas score on a clear shot? like a winger rushing down the boards and just snapping it past the goaltender. I see those goals all the time on the highlight packages and yet so far as I can remember all of the Stars' goals are either perfect passing plays to a guy standing right in front of the net, or on the PP.

Seems to me scoring those types of goals is probably easier then what we've been trying to do

here comes Boogaard, what a piece of ****

****ing Boogaard, I wish Barch would have given him a couple of shots while we was on the ice for good measure.

I repeat, what a piece of ****.

Major props to Barch for standing up to Boogaard.

I don't want to hear any complaining about Barch for a while.

jesus christ Richards... did he do 1 decent thing on that PP?

I want this guy out of here, you'll remember that our problems last regular season started just after he got here... Dallas is probably something like 10 games under .500 (atleast) with Richards in the lineup in the regular season.

lucky break on that one, don't know what the ref was smoking there.

If Dallas gets scored on again they have to bring in Stephan, let's see what he can do..

It can't be much closer than that assuming that it wasn't a goal.
