I was about to post pretty much exactly the same thing.

The fact that Matt Higgins played 57 games, and I can't for the life of me remember him on the team, speaks volumes to how bad he was for me.

That should actually mean he WASNT that bad. You remember the bad players because of stupid stuff they did.. Higgins just never did anything good or bad.

BTW, Higgins is an international star for the Sprengler Cup addition of Team Canada.

A few notes on suggested players. My arbitrary rule was 20 games.

Robert Dirk: Only played 3 games.

Sylvain Blouin: 22 games! I'll add him next time. Missed his first tour of duty.

Gordie Dwyer: Only played 13 games.

Terry Ryan: 8 games.

P.J. Stock: Our favorite commentator got to 20. I'll add him next time.

...and before anyone asks, Dave Morisette only got into 11 games

Well, the key point of this exercise was to try and only consider players who at least played regularly for Montreal at some point. If you count guys who had a cup of tea during an injury situation, this list gets silly and you have a lot of guys no one even remembers in Montreal.

I mean, take goalie situations. Some pretty bad guys get NHL games during injury curses.

Still voted for Dagenais, cuz for me a player who have the talent but dosent wants to give efforts is still worse than a doushe bag player with no talent that gives everything into a shift.

Richter, so bad defensively... in my first years watching the team... Bashkirov, Lind and Higgins (matt) were there anyway...

Read the thread before calling names.

As I said a couple times now, I threw anyone on the list who either I felt deserved to be there or who I felt would be demanded to be there. O'Byrne isn't one of the worst, but I put his stats up there anyway just to make sure this didn't turn into a Ryan O'Byrne thread.

I didn't call you stupid...just the idea that anyone would consider voting for him is stupid.

I put him on the list, because I figured by virtue of the timing people would demand it.

To everyone here's credit, not a soul has, so it seems we're all smarter than we give ourselves credit for

I went with Niinimaa. 3.5 million to be a healthy scratch for half the season .
