Well it seems reasonoble...If you look what the caps got for Lang.

our top 2 lines now look like this

Bulis - Koivu - Kovalev
Zednik - Ribeiro - Ryder

Intriguing. I wish him the best of luck in MTL, as Kovy is a great player and person. Hopefully he can become what he was in Pittsburgh once more.

That would be almost exactly the same as what Ottawa gave up for Bondra (a bit higher pick, a pick THIS year and not next year, and each gave up a good prospect). Anyone got a link on this thing though?

Oh yeah. We have 2 really solid scoring line, plus Perreault lol. If he gels, we gotta be considered legit contenders.

I think he is a bad fit for Montreal. A Donald Audette with greater offensive potential. His gutless play in NY is no sign that this will help Montreal at all. I would have gone after more of a power forward type than a sniper.

Great Pick-up by the Habs I was expecting a Gonchar trade with the Press COnference being called but I've now seen Nathen Dempsy to the Kings and Kovalev to the Habs!

Pretty good return for Kovalev. A little more then I expected personally, but pretty good for both teams. Kovalev will be a great addition for the Habs.
