PB1300's Official Game Preview

After waiting in one of the longest lines in Black Friday history, the Bank Atlantic Center FINALLY opens its doors to a rivalry unlike any other, the Rangers and our Florida Panthers. After getting my AMAZING Total Ticket deal, which for ONLY $17 got me one $5 gas card, one Coca Cola Combo Meal, free parking, and a ticket to one of the most anticipated games in ages, I was shocked to see Pantherland stocked with specialty items items up to 60% off! I got myself a great $8 hat which was a special with any purchase, some great Panther holiday ornaments and Santa hats that were 50% off, and much more great gift packages. How can I watch a game after going through one of the best Black Fridays in recent memory? Well, hopefully we can all give thanks to a great holiday, enjoy a packed BAC, and HOPE that the game is as entertaining and successful as this one was:

LETS GO CATS!

I pick the cats to pull it out tonight against all odds. Rangers are going to go into this game thinking they just have to show up to get the win. We will catch them by surprise. Goals by Booth continueing his hot streak and both Frolik & Matthias will also score tonight. + A goal from our D. 4-3 Panthers.

Nice GDT pb1300...and way to put the heat on Beezer!

ok Panthers, just because you're decimated with injuries is no excuse to mail it in on this one. Outwork 'em and you can still win.

pb1300 is our own Craig Anderson: a fully capable backup

I don't know what to think or expect from tonight's game. Honestly. Will the Belak trade spark or slump? And with so many regulars on IR...will it really matter? And how will Matthias look?

All this and more tonight on...AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS!...er, wait...

Thanks for all the love guys, I appreciate it. I will say that its not as easy as I thought it would be. It is tough once you first start, especially when trying to make those damn brackets and boxes. Thankfully, I got to carefully look over the Rocks normal GDTs, and saw how its done. I "borrowed" most of the stuff from him, just added a little Greek seasoning to it.

Regarding the game, I expect them to come out and play hard because they always seem to do so against the Rags, and when the building is packed. I dont expect a win, but I wouldnt be surprised if it happened because we always seem to play our best against the leagues best. All we can ask for is 60 minutes of hockey from our team, because anything less will result in a definite loss.

Well they are in Atlanta tonight, so I would think that he should of gotten here within enough time.

I don't see why not. I'm certain that is why the trade happened yesterday, to give the two time to get things in order. Nashville is in Atlanta tonight so perhaps there will be a Belak v. Boulton tilt so Wade can start it all off with his new club.

I have a coupon for buy one get one free upper level tickets that I could use for tonight but I have to go to the box office for it. As I'm back home over break and I live 30 miles from the BAC, I don't really want to head out there only to be disappointed that I won't be able to get tickets. I called the ticket number for the panthers and asked if they expected there to be tickets available later but the lady gave me a stupid answer in saying "come now and you can get some but later right before the game might be sold out." I haven't heard much and the ranger games are generally sellouts, but at what time would you think I need to get to the box office by in order to get tickets? I really don't want to make two trips.

We couldn't beat these guys full strength, let alone with the injuries that have decimated our roster. Our only hope is that Anderson is in net and not the Vokoun we've all seen this season.

Be hard playing on a line with Tarnasky.

-- Tarnasky will likely be on a line centered by Shawn Matthias, the rookie not making it in for today's skate. He's in though, says Pete DeBoer

This one's going to be pretty ugly... No number of cowbells will help us with the Ranger fans tonight...

A win's a long shot at best.

Last two rangers games I've gone to the Panthers have won in thrillers in a Shootout. I think it's been the after-Thanksgiving ones too the last two years. This is my first game of the season and hopefully we'll make it three in a row with the exciting wins. We're severely out of firepower though (as if we ever had any), so Frolik, Weiss, Booth, and co. need to really step it up out there. Hopefully Frolik can start delivering.

Yep, last two Thanksgiving games, I was at last year's. Was a good game, not going until next Thursday's game against Buffalo this year, though.
