Last two rangers games I've gone to the Panthers have won in thrillers in a Shootout. I think it's been the after-Thanksgiving ones too the last two years. This is my first game of the season and hopefully we'll make it three in a row with the exciting wins. We're severely out of firepower though (as if we ever had any), so Frolik, Weiss, Booth, and co. need to really step it up out there. Hopefully Frolik can start delivering.
we don't need no stinkin' firepower. grit and hardwork is all that's required. the last 2 games, this team has come close to achieving deboer's preseason wish - be a team you don't want to play against. the goals weren't pretty but they count just the same. if the team can bring that same effort (perhaps leave out the bad parts, though that might be asking too much ) they should be OK.
I was just wondering if any Rangers fans show up at these games, because I went to a Marlins Mets game and it almost seemed like it was a home game for the Mets. What would you say the breakdown is? (90-10, 80-20..ect.)

Didnt see the first two goals. Where they bad goals by Andy, or was it more of the teams fault?
Well the first one was kinda fluky, just fluttered over Anderson off a deflection, and the 2nd one Andy should have had as it was a straight shot unscreened from the slot.
I get the local coverage here, my Center Ice gets blacked out here when they play a local team.
Yeah? That could be it, but im in CT. I doubt im getting blacked out. What does it look like when Center Ice is blacking out a game? Is it just a black screen? I assumed it would be the center ice logo with that music in the background. Every other Center Ice channel works. I hate this crap.

The game is on MSG, I have Cablevision. My CI channel is just all black, but all the other games work. I dont get any Devils, Islanders or Rangers games on CI.
Despite being down we played really well. We outskated the Rangers the whole period. The crappy part is that we've only made a few mistakes, but they've been huge. Anderson hasn't been to solid but I like DeBoer sticking with him because A) It shows his confidence in Andy and B) It tells the team that he's not going to bail them out every time they give up 2 crappy goals, and that they just have to deal with it.
They've responded well. If we keep testing King Henry like this, we'll put a few more in.
