eh, he's a plug and play. Maybe we can see Osala now bc of it? Other than the "big guys" out (Feds, Semin, Green, Poti), the rest of the injuries are plug and play players. Anyone we insert for them might actually be better than the injured player in some manner of speaking. No worries on Fehr...

If no one comes back and Fehr joins the gang, I'll have lots of players to "stalk" in their suite Wednesday night.

the Caps seem to call up guys to fill roles - we got enough plumbers in their now so i would assume Pourque or Osala would be next in line over Laing.

we have seen everyone else so I hope that Osala, cap willing, gets his chance next. Fehr is a goal scorer or at least is supposed to be so lets summon the big O.

I hope Osala comes up, but I'm not certain. I think financially, they go for the cheapest option.

That might be Mink or Bourque.

At least for tonight money is really irrelevant, as Semin on LTIR gives us a huge cushion available to use for callups. I still think Mink or Bourque are the most likely to be brought up, just going by the previous callups (hopefully Bourque and hopefully they keep him with Laich instead of banishing him to the 4th line.)

If we have cap room, its gotta be Osala re: roles; and Fehr is a goal scorer in Bruce's eyes. These injuries are really going to help our prospects. We get to see our young prospects, and they get valuable NHL experience. GMGM is getting to see what some guys have, and showcase some of the older vets.

Nice call. I think this may be more about looking at our other centers than replacing Fehr or his role. It would be foolish not to and then jettison Nylander. Feds injury lingers, so let's see our center depth while we can.

So, I go away for the weekend, and the Caps get even more injured. Will it ever end?

Pinched nerve? That can usually be fixed by a chiropractor.

Or Oesteopath. There is a good one basically in the shadow of the Ballston Mall.

So AO gets his Ballston Mall Hair Cuttery sponsorship and Semin can get an Oesteopath one.

This sucks.

Wasn't this the same thing that kept Fehr out last year? (or was the exact injury never diagnosed?)

Fehr's was lower back, and Semin's seems like much higher, like almost upper upper back/lower neck.

Sami back to Hershey. Indicative of a dman coming back for Wednesday's game, or paper transaction?
