Quick Sens Rumour from the Press Box....

Just spoke with a scout here between periods who believes that the Sens are in talks with the Kings regarding Tom Preissing...

Sens fans? What would you think?

He left Ottawa for a reason, I doubt he's coming back.

I wouldn't mind it, but:
- Murray was the coach who benched him in the last game of the Finals and made him the 6th D-man all year
- Ottawa just called up Brian Lee again and Brendan Bell has been doing well on the bottom pairing in his few games. Actually, I have no idea why Lee was called up. You'd have to believe that he'd be playing over somebody, but who?

I like how Dwayne Keith "Eklund" Klessel ends his rumor with:

Quote:
Sens fans? What would you think?
Basically a self-actualization affirmation of the crap he throws up at the wall.
aka "Hey guys, think it sounds valid/plausible?"

He didn't get much ice time in the cup finals.

It wouldn't make much sense. He would play on our bottom pairing. Hopefully we get a bigger impact offense defenceman.

Nope.

But Murray would be dumb to bring back a player that hates him.

This should be interesting IF it was true...

Even though I don't want to see Preissing go...if it's to improve the team...I will welcome it...

This doesn't happen until JMFJ is healthy again. If it does happen it also means that Gauthier is here to stay when JFMJ gets back, much to the chagrin of pretty much every Kings fan except me.
