Would anyone else LOVE to see this line?

Still can't believe Kosty has barely ever played with Saku.

That's exactly what he needs imo. Have a guy like Koivu and Tanguay feed him the puck.

Seems like common sense to me..but that's just me..

That line would create a trickle down affect on the lineup that would cause every player to be in their natural position. I just don't think we can afford that.

Agree, this line could do some serious damage.. And I would like to see Higgins play with Plekanec so they can be used as our first PK unit..

Tanguay Koivu A.Kost

Higgins Plekanec Latendresse

S.Kost Lang Kovalev

If it could prove not to be a liability, I'd love to see Lats on the Lang line with that line-up.

Higgins - Plekanec - S. Kostitsyn can be a line sent out against opposting top units as a shutdown trio, while also being an offensive line. Or you can leave Lats there, and occasionally sub in Kostopoulos for him.

Tanguay - Koivu - AK46
Higgins - Plek - SK74
Lats/Kosto - Lang - Kovalev

I also just want to see one shift of the Kostitsyn bros with Koivu.

Something like:

Kostitsyn-Koivu-Kostitsyn
Higgins-Plekanec-Tanguay
Latendresse-Lang-Kovalev

Just one shift, all I ask. I guess it all depends on Carbos dice.

Watching Koivu and Andrei dance around in the 4 on 4 vs. the Sabres was fun... the goal was icing on the cake!

I don't care, as long as Andrei doesn't play another game on the same line as Kovalev, I'm happy...

But, I feel it's time to put the CAT line back together...

won't happen on RW coz he does not want turnovers created at the bleu line

carbo does not play forwards on their off wing unless they are very responsible deffensively (skosty-tanguay) or established players like kovy who has been playing there since day 1 in NHL at that position. So he will play him LW.

People say that tanguay and koivu would feed akosty but we forget that he is a very good passer

Because Carbo is stubborn. It's a tad frustrating quality to have as a coach.

Exactly my thoughts. Why would we want anyone to play their natural positions?
