Actually, the only thing Kovalev does OK this year is the PK

Carbo has to play guys like Plekanec Higgins Begin Kostopoulos on the PK, Lang is way too slow way too risky to play there.. Both Lang and Kovalev is even worst.. You need speed and intensity to kill penalities..

Could this thread be moved in the PGT plz..

No you don't. Mainly you need good positioning and vision.

Lappy was always fast and intense, but before he used to be horrible in his positioning so the shots and pass were always bad. Now he's better.

Lang and Kovalev have been pretty good on PK so far.

Not to mention they are our tallest forwards, so they have longer reach.

Lang has been decent on the PK this year. I agree that they shouldn't be on the PK at the same time, but Lang has usually been on the PK with Kostopoulos, best PKer.

I think the biggest reason why Lang is on the PK is for his faceoff skills. Aside from that, it must only be because of his reach.

It's actually a new trend in the NHL to play your most skilled guys on the PK. The idea behind this is that these guys can take control of the puck more easily and clear the zone with ease.

Kovalev also gets more ice time so there's less complaining
