Great forechecking from Nodl. I was worried he was going to get called for a penalty.

Nice aggressive play by Nödl. Just took out the opponent behind his own net and takes the puck.

Oh come the **** on. Another penalty?

I think we should just play with 4 players all the time and save the refs the breath really

Yet again, the flyers can't count how many players are on the ice. This is becoming a joke now. Stevens pull your finger out of your ass

I saw that! He's in the same boat as Callahan -- someday maybe he'll play for a team I can cheer for. But not yet.

Actually...he should pull it out of his mouth. He looked like he was cleaning his teeth when Briere was called for the penalty. Hopefully it wasn't up his ass before it was in his mouth?

The team should pool some omeny together, then pick someone to tear into the refs in the postgame. The pooled money will cover the upcoming fine

I don't think you understand my point. I was only saying that I thought plays like that should be punished based on intent rather than injury. I thought it was a boarding, one that deserved a two minute penalty. It was a terrible call because he was ejected and given a five minute penalty. It was a TERRIBLE call. You will certainly get no argument out of me that NHL officiating is, at best, inconsistent. It is probably closer to bad. Bad officiating happens to every team however, not just the Flyers.

The refs must think we're trying to break our own "Most penalty minutes in a game" record.

He's a good kid and a great success story. I hope one day he plays for anybody but Montreal.

Way to go Flyers! Autism Awareness Night!

If you guys ever have a chance to see a game with special needs players, do it -- it's amazing, and so much fun. Kitchener has played games the last two years against these kids, and it's become a 'don't miss' event for me.

No I got your point fine, I was just making an extra comment. I disagree with your point, is all. I saw zero intent to injure or board or do anything really out of the ordinary for a hockey player.

I thought I saw Briere go off slowly. This is a very Forsberg-like year for him.
