I'm glad this episode is over. I'm very happy he is gone. Too bad about the injuries as maybe people would see the "true cancer" on this team.
Yea, I am glad this drama is more or less done, I will be even more happy when the trolling about Avery and "what the **** is wrong with the Stars" goes back to a minimum. If you want to know what the **** is wrong with the Stars, read one of the earlier threads, don't make a new one. Ok I am done being bitter for a while.
edit:too bad the "what the **** is wrong with the Stars" threads won't stop till we actually play well....going to be a very long season.

Reason: reality set in
I'm still unclear what they are doing with his contract. He is going to count against the cap? Stupid Hull.
With Morrow out cap space isn't really a problem. Although, it doesn't appear they are going to try to bring in anyone with a huge contract to try to save the season anyway. I don't think Hicks will want to invest anymore money in a sinking ship (this season).
Kudos to the Stars for clipping Avery's wings! Good luck with the rest of the season guys...time to move on. I can't help wonder how much of a pain this guy has been this year, and that the sloppy seconds comment was just the tip of the iceberg...?
1/3 of a season and he's already done... what a joke, what did hull expect when he signed him to such a ridiculous deal... and just look at the way the stars are playing, that should be another reason to get rid of him
but maybe things will get better now that Avery's gone, we'll see
I'm no Hull apologist at all, but it's rather silly to blame how the team is playing on Hull. If he, along with Jackson and Tippett, allow the team to use Avery as the reason as to why they are not playing well this year, can him. However, Hull has said a few times Avery is not the reason for the poor start so it appears he won't allow the team to use Avery as a crutch.
yea sather should have been fired along time ago... whats your point?
The point is 1 bad signing is not going to get him fired from the Dallas Stars. He may lose the Co-GM role but that would be it. If other GM's sign player(s) to ****ing crazy contracts and don't get fired Hull won't be either.
