Well at least the ballpark will get a little bit of a facelift.

It's kind of funny that one of the most offensively-minded parks in the majors will get even more so with the significant reduction of foul territory.

The Harris/Carter combo is blowing out the Mavericks. Dirk is as cold as a chokesicle.

Yeah, Harris had an amazing game showing the Mavs the error of their ways. The way he would just pull up randomly at the arc and rain down 3s was impressive to say the least. Oh, what could've been...

Complete and total catastrophe. An embarrassment to the franchise.

Yeah that was pretty funny.

I guess Emmitt and Aikman were right. They both said last week that the Cowboys wouldn't make the playoffs.

did anybody see Michael Irvin after the game, he was irate. Today I listened to the Michael Irvin show on ESPN 103.3FM and he was just going off on them. I don't blame him though

But do you know the real reason why Irvin was so mad? Someone on the Cowboys, presumably Adam 'Pacman' Jones, took all of Irvin's cocaine.

Or his late night booty calls with the Harry Hines faithful.

What are the odds Phillips is fired in the next month?

Further, what are the odds Cowher ends up with the Cowboys?

I'd bet a small fortune that Phillips is fired within a month, and I'd even put major money down that he's gone in 48 hours.

I don't think Jason Garrett will be the next coach, and neither will Cowher. Well, maybe a slim chance for Cowher if Jerry throws insane money at him.

The defense had been very good this month and most of November.

You can't show me a more talented group of players on the offensive side of the ball. They played like trash, and every coach/player on that side of the ball deserves a swift kick in the nuts. That team was pathetic tonight.

I'd take the exact other position. Phillips won't be fired because Jerry Jones' ego won't allow him to admit, once again, he picked the wrong guy after two seasons.

On the flip side of things, let us look at it this way. He took more control of the team after JJ, even more after Gailey, all or close to all with Campo, took a small step back with Parcells and grabbed complete control and hired Phillips. The most successful coaches under Jones have been JJ and Parcells, the latter in which I couldn't stand. Both tenures were marked with Jones taking a back seat to both and staying, for the most part, in the owner's box so to speak. Cowher would represent Jones realizing, once again, he needs to just own the team and allow actual football people to run the team and keep himself schmoozing sponsors.

So what will happen? Phillips will be back, proclaiming how the "best team didn't win."

Major blow-up going on right now with the Rangers.

The move everyone expected (except for one person) came a couple of weeks ago apparently and Nolan and JD asked Young to move to 3rd. I guess his team player persona is just that. He demanded a trade and he'll give a list of potential teams he'll waive his NTC for. Wow. I wonder if he actually believes he deserved that gold glove?

He is sure handed but has no range at SS. Move was going to come now, or a year from now. My thought? Probably end up moving to 3b.. however I would like to see a trade.

Im sure NY would sign him...They seem to love the Rangers leftovers.

This is a complete overreaction by Young. Take away the highly questionable Gold Glove and I wonder if the same reaction occurs.

It's something everyone including Young knew was going to happen eventually, and it only made sense that Young's transition to 3B was made this year. Since Young knew it was coming, and we all know he did, why did he or his agent decide it was best to put this all out in the press? I'm guessing he thinks what few Rangers fans are left will rally behind him, but I think he has severely underestimated the size of this bargaining chip.

Stars going to be broadcasted on The Ticket 1310AM/104.1FM with Pre-Game and Post-Game shows... next season

Quote:
The Dallas Stars are going to The Ticket.

The Stars and Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket announced today that they have signed a five-year agreement to make The Ticket the exclusive radio broadcasting home of the hockey club through the 2013-14 NHL season.

The agreement begins next season, with the Ticket broadcasting all 82 regular season games of the Dallas Stars each year, as well as all playoff games. The games will be broadcast on both the station’s primary AM frequency of 1310 and its main FM frequency of 104.1 (as well as 1700 AM and 99.5-2 HD). The Ticket will also broadcast a pre-game show (for most games) and a post-game show (for all games) as part of the agreement.

This actually is a great move by both parties. The Ticket is a Marconi winning radio station and one of the best in the country every year.

SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket has won many awards over the years. Among them, is the 2007 Marconi Award for "Best Sports Station in America" at the National Association of Broadcasters' annual conference on September 27, 2007. The station and various shows have been Marconi nominees in the past, but this was The Ticket's first win

I know. I'm just sad it's not taking effect until next season.
