Well, even though some posters are exaggerating Lidstrom's fall from grace quite laughably, he's actually starting to look a lot like the Lidstrom that we have all come to know. His defensive stickwork has been very Lidstrom like the past few games, and with that PP and offensive talent he will get his points.
Lidstrom is still very, very much in the Norris debate, and i wouldn't be shocked at all if he deservingly won it.
He will be very close to the 1,000 pt mark by season end, whether that be short or over.
I don't know. I think this year, Dan Boyle is going to win it, but if Lidstrom steps up his game, to usual Lidstrom, then it's not out of reach.
Boyle will never win the Norris... he doesn't play near the same defensive leve as Lidstrom and a few more points won't override that. It's either Weber or Chara I think , this year, if Lidstrom doesn'y pick it up.
