Two top priorities:goalie and top scorer
So what would it take for Kovy and Lehtonen or Pavalec

or Nash and Mason

or any top scorer and a young goalie

It would be near impossible for one team to get both Kovy and Lehts.

I think the best time for the Kings to get Kovy would be in the upcoming draft not now if the Kings tried to get him now they will be giving way too much and they can't even negotiate with Kovy's contract, but if they get him in the draft the Kings can also talk to Kovy's agent since during that time Kovy will have one year left in his contract so the Kings would trade for Kovy, but only if they can get a gurantee on a contract extension for Kovy

I agree. A deal like that is a draft day deal...

But Ilya would have to sign a long term deal with the kings.

My question is. Does he have the heart to want a cup?
