Well if you wannt talk draft picks? A top 3-7 draft pick in this years draft. If you think about it, I think this is actually a pretty fair trade.
Grabovski for Gaborik
I may be flamed but Gaborik can't survive a season but he is very talented. Grabovski is a top rookie, may even win rookie of the year hes on pace for about 40 goals. He probobly won't reach that but he will get 60+ points and around 30-40 goals. He is very talnted

No. Grabovski could not get you guys Gaborik, unless it was part of a bigger deal.

Gaborik for Grabovski? Even with a small chance Gaborik re-signs that is a sweet deal for you guys. Gaborik is one of the most talented guys in the league and I think his point totals could get even higher in a place besides defense-first Minnesota.
And he is not returned Hedman, Tavares, Paarjarvi, Schenn, Duchene, Cowen or Kane (my top 7 for 09) thats just nuts
considering his age and potential, i agree its very high. hes also a lot safer than a pick since we've already seen what he can do
Uh, whoa. We've seen what he can do over the course of 25 games. I don't see how that makes him "a lot safer than a pick" at all. In fact I'd be wary of a player who allegedly gave his former team the ultimatum of trading him, or losing him for nothing to the KHL.
are you crazy? have you even seen him play? hes 1st in rookies with goals (10) and 4th in points (18) and only in his early 20's...how often do you see a third rounder score 30 goals and 60 points

In his rookie season? Well Michael Ryder comes to mind. Except he was an 8th rounder.
It would depend on the team. Teams hurting for offence may give their first round pick but most likely he's worth a 2nd rounder, or a comparable player (young top 6 player).
I'd like to hear your reasoning for that. Are you perhaps among the same group of people who think Captain K > Crosby?
Reasoning : he disappears against a good defense, he's probably the easiest guy to send on his back in the league and pouts if he doesn't get the icetime he wants.

Ya, Toronto just got really lucky, pretend last season he was on MTL playing like he is this season, how much would you trade him for?
MTL is just angry they gave him away
