Well they're technically right, aren't they? This is our 99th season, 100th year or something? I dunno, let's call that Daniel Bigras guy or whatever his name was.

This isn't rocket science. Say a person is born today, December 5th, 2008. They will be in their 1st season(year) until their 1st birthday which would be on December 5th, 2009.
