edit: it would seem the majority of you consider that a dirty or soft goal...well, I consider it a good goal but whatever. It went in FTW and that's all that matters

Who do you reckon has more shots without scoring? Alberts or Nodl?

For those of you counting at home, that makes Rod the Bod a -22 for the year!

Finn d-nce and Finn goaltending tonight..

Vaananen was a monster and our two young guns Carter and Richards provided scoring.

Time to play the song from the GTD, perfect theme for this team

I'm fearing Brind'Amour might be done.

no idea but yea, they need to put one in. alberts has time, he just 1) shoots it into the goalie or 2) waits too long

a well deserved win!

i didnt like that tripping call on Sbisa; he just had his sick in a steady position, and Samsanov skates into it and trips over it; it wasnt like Sbisa made ANY effort to trip him.... it was a very weak call, given the circumstance, and yet the Canes scored on that PP....

otherwise, there are still some real issues with this team; Lupul once again was useless, Coburn is still making some bad coverage decisions and bad decisions with the puck; and lastly, they need to control their puck possession better..

according to the Canes' analyst he's just now getting his feet under him; apparently he missed the beginning of the season, and maybe the pre-season, too???

can we give carter some props instead of blaming brind'amour on that play? i mean, carter's the league's leading goal scorer. and if he's going to stay near the top of the list all year hes going to have to make some players, and some damn good defensive players look silly sometimes.

for sure, defensive play is important; and i dont recall him having any really bad turnovers, but given the contract he signed, i expect him to contribute a little more offensively, and i'm not seeing the effort, honesty....

so, watching the Oilers/Sharks game. This anthem singer is awful...randomly flat every couple of lines.

A new challenger appears:

The problem here is that for Nödl and Sbisa, there are no shots on goal in the stats as they are either blocked or wide. For Alberts there is only one so far this year.
