Let me counter the offer.

To Ottawa : Tomas Kaberle

To Toronto : Mike Fisher
I would love to see that trade happen.

Fisher would become the Leafs first line Center and make the entire fanbase forget about Gilmour or Clark. We'd be creating a Leafs dynasty with that trade.

As for what the trade would be, I'd be comfortable with

To Tor: Two out of Lee/Foligno/SJ's 1st rounder
To Ott: Kaberle

If Toronto wanted another asset, than they'd have to reduce their expectations substantially from what I see so far (depth player, mid-level prospect). There's no way we (or probably any team) is trading away 3 first rounders for Kaberle.
Yeah like i said after going through it I didn't realize O'brien was your first in '07. If you figure lee is more feasable that's more then fare. I would rather it be Ottawa's first for obvious reasons. I think it will end up being 15 to 20. I would remove lee and add a lesser prospect to hold the better pick. I'm sure you guys feel the same the other way.

I would have ignored you up until that post...

Fisher is a good player, but he's no Gilmour or Clark, thats for ****ing sure.

Get your head out of biased land if you expect people to actually talk civilly with you.

I understand the internetz are serious business for you, but there's an ignore function for a reason. If you can't handle opinions from those of us in biased land, then use it.

Its worse than just bias though, its downright stupid. If I were to start a poll on whether or not Fisher would be better than Gilmour and Clark, you would probably be the only one who says yes.

I dislike using the ignore feature, because then many threads stop making sense when your missing posts.

Yeah, it's this new thing I invented... I think it's pretty clever. I was thinking of calling it "hyperbole".

There's no way Toronto takes Neil...next to Alfredsson he's public enemy #1 in T.O.
Plus, it'd definitely have to be Ottawa's 1st instead of SJ's if all that the Leafs get is a rental 3rd line grinder and a mid-range prospect.

The Kaberle for Fisher trade is probably even worse. You might be able to fool JFJ with something like that, but Burke's not going to be fooled that easily. I'd rather have Blake's ridiculous contract than Fisher's.
