Olesz questionable
Left wing Rostislav Olesz sat out practice Friday because of a pulled groin and is questionable for tonight's game, DeBoer said. If Olesz can't play, and none of the team's other four injured forwards is ready to return, the Panthers would call up a prospect from the AHL.
Campbell breaks free
Olesz misses practice for Florida Panthers, could be out vs. Boston
George Richards' Blog, Your Source For Reliable, Early Panthers Info!

If Olesz is unable to play and no other forward can return, another callup will be made to the AHL. Anderson continues to start in goal under his hot streak.

Red Hot Cat Of The Night Craig Anderson, who has allowed only 7 goals in his last 4 games, including a shutout, and has won 3 in a row.

Primary Target

Phil Kessel, winner of the 2007 Masterton Trophy for perseverance after returning from a bout with cancer. The young forward has already been through a lot in his short NHL career, but he is one of the top up and coming players in the game today. Fun fact for Geeks: Did you know that Phil Kessel did the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs? If you got that reference, please get outside more.

LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

Why do we always seem to play our best with our best forwards out? FLA keeps the hot hand rolling, Kreps surprises with a goal tonight! Win for the Panthers!

Because this team has a bad habit of expecting the the "big names" to do the bulk of the work. When the top guys aren't in the lineup, they realize that they have to pick up the slack.

Same reason we play better in front of Andy.

Said in the reports they had out at pactice today that Sprukts was called up. Olesz was on the ice before the others came out and Stillman practiced in a no-contact jersey.

Bouw was last one on and first one off, which I didn't like till I found out that Chara doesn't practice at all since he plays so much during the game (at least according to a Bruins fan, anyway).

Had fun at practice, saw Cam Neely, Denis Potvin, Billy Lindsay, Moller, etc. I'm not one to say hi or ask for autographs in that setting, but it was pretty cool seeing some of those guys out there.

Boston really banged up on the backend. Ward missed a game or two for them this past week. Could he miss tonight too? They are down 2 def. at least. Maybe we have a chance tonight

I voted for Boston tonight to keep the winning streak going for the Panthers

Ward didn't make the trip to FLA. He has a leg injury. Wideman is a game-time decision. He's been having groin issues. Ference has been out with a broken leg.

Sturm is also out for tonight's game.

Here's to a good game tonight.

Jeez, are our players made of fine china?

At least Sprukts got called up, I want to see how he does tonight.

So, who is going to play with Weiss and Frolik? Matthias?

I'd give Campbell a shot. He showed some nice chemistry with Frolik last game. No harm in trying.

Has Bouw ever saved a puck from clearing the zone on the PP? Seriously, ever?
