Well so far Pascal Vincent looks like a genius. Jeremy Gouchie picked up an assist in his first game + a fight yesterday and has looked very good. The Juniors have signed a guy from Junior AAA to replace MacDougall, Darick St-Marie, and the guy has 3 assists in 2 games so far while playing even better hockey than MacD on the 4th line.

So far so good... can't wait to see what this team looks like when everyone is healthy/has returned from international events.

I would like to see them add another top-4 D though... we'll see what Vincent has in store.

I hope you know you are trading Brennan & Esposito to Cape Breton

I haven't been watching Moose much this year but heard of a couple trades and wow.. they seem to have good deals. A 5th round pick for Stransky and he has 3 goals, 2 assists in 2 games and Logan.. we just got all kinds for him.

According to Richard Martel, Bourdon is going to Rimouski in a 3-way trade between Rouyn, Québec and Rimouski...

What's your thing with Quebec's leftovers? Esposito, Rubin, Bourgeois, Lavoie, Ste-Marie, ...

I heard rumors aplenty that there was more to that trade.Till I witness that though,I don't believe it.I think Cape Breton got robbed myself.

Do get ahead of yourself ... we thought Pascal was a genious also .

Until you get bounced from the playoffs in round 2.

I'm getting the feeling Pascal Vincent is the kind of GM that always ices competitive teams while never going all in to build a Memorial Cup Contender... I'm thinking Montreal will always be a top 10 team in the QMJHL but will never have enough firepower to go deep in the playoffs.

We'll see, but so far he's done a good job with this team IMO.

MacDougall,Brennan and Espo for Brodeur, Fontaine, Goochie and a second rounder in 9 and 3rd rounder in 10 will be the final deal and how it shapes out. Meilleur will be the player traded back for the 09 pick

Hey Serge Constantine is there any spare Goalies that could be waived through to the OHL. Some teams are looking for reliable backups with too many Young guys here currently.

Yea me too. However i just have to think something is up.No way Mario Durocher can let Gouchie go for Mac Dougall straight up.He can't be that dumb.and as for Cape Breton they have 2 or 3 players that are horrible.they are not major junior calibre.Shaw,McCarron are 2 for sure.Worst 1st round pick I ever saw in Shaw.

Agreed 100% about Shaw & McCarron .

Mario said last night he will be making some moves to get some of the guys who arent playing much , a chance to play somewhere else .

& with Max Le Suier being recalled for the rest of the year, i only hope Shaw is traded & McCarron is released.

He's 16....you're a moron. Maccarron is a project, i'll give ya that, but your view on Shaw is absolutely rediculous. He'd have much better numbers if he was not on such a stacked team up front. You need to get a clue.
