We are looking for another pick in this round or an earlier pick in the next round. PM me if interested.

Philadelphia selects LW Slava Kozlov. Say what you want about him, but his #s don't lie. Since the lockout, he is 12th among wingers in points, ahead of some quite notable names. He's a natural scorer with hockey sense, who we feel should go well with Pavelski's playmaking abilities, and is solid defensively.

Dallas selects Tobias Enstrom

This effectively gives us 3 forward lines, 3 defensive pairings and a starting goalie.

I suggest letting those who were skipped make up all their picks before starting the next round. I think we are missing the point of the draft by skipping teams.

I don't know if I agree. If they don't want this to happen they should be here for their pick or send a list in. I think the time should stay 4 hours though and not go down to 2. The pace of the draft isn't bad it's just the GM's not showing up.

Your to early for your pick,we were just finishing the 16th round, you pick in the beginning of the 17th. If we go to 2 hour time slots now then you will be up soon

I was about to pick him but I felt Pavelski's offense was more valuable than Kesler's defense. Pavelski's also no slouch on D. Nice pick at this point.

i would have picked pavelski over kesler as well - that said, i like kesler as a 4th line centre.

I like Koivu

I have to be able to pick Sundin, that would give me the former Leaf's, Senator's and Canadien's captains

But who would get the C? Alfie of course

pitts selects LW Ethan Moreau

Ethan brings a good mix of grit and leadership, hes a good skater and can chip in a few when needed. We feel he rounds out our 3rd line with Clowe and Peca. This would be a pretty good shutdown line.

The Anaheim Ducks are happy to select defenseman Ed Jovanovski and two-way winger Petr Sykora

Analysis: Jovanovski will look good on our very solid defensive core, great in both ends and can provide leadership (to a group that has 10 captains on it )

Sykora is nearly at a PPG pace, partly from playing with Malkin. He will fit in very well on our 4th line

Pitts is very pleased to fill out their top 6 defence with hard hitting up coming

Luke Schenn

As a 3 line D, Luke will not be pushed to do to much to soon.

We now have 3 great kids in Boedker, Turris and Schenn to inject abit of enthusiasium into our line up.
