His trade value will never be this high again.

No way

Why trade him as he has a cheap salary, works hard and is performing... sure we could always trade when a player is performing but I would rather see the team keep him and let him get even better here

Flames could use moss in some sort of blockbuster deal with a team out east. Im thinking Tampa or atlanta, or toronto.

because shedding 550k in salary will give us the cap space to land an elite player

well said... his value may not get higher... but who is to say if its going to drop or not... when healthy Moss has produced at a decent rate... this year he is starting to drive to the net more and cleaning up garbage goals

Moss is the kind of player that will stand in front of the net and scoop up the garbage goals, something this team really needs. He's contributing on secondary scoring, works hard and comes with a cheap price tag.

Keep Moss.

moss' value to us > than what we'll get for him.

He's probably a 20/20 third liner in his mid-twenties, what could we possibly get in a trade that would make it worth trading him?

As a package for someone elite with someone else, sure, but who else would we include and who is really available?

think before you write, buddy didn't say that trading him would clear up salary he simply said he could be apart of a blockbuster deal, i think he said this because if calgary added moss to a trade it could sweeten the deal.

Exactly. Even with Moss' hot streak are we really going to get much for him? I don't think so. He is cheap and producing at a good rate. Why get rid of that.

Tonidanza, do you actually post anything of substance and actually do some analysis before you make posts? Or do you just start threads because a new idea popped into your head?

So that we can continue to hear people whine about how the Flames can't develop any prospects that can come in and contribute.

What r we trading for him again? He has been a great value. Who I guess I should say are we trading for? More importantly are u a Flames fan? Never read anything from you that suggests it. Not trying to fight here, just asking.......

Sorry, but a Trade Thread should at least be creative. This one lacks imagination.
