Yeah zx81....DUH!

I'll be curious to see if Carbo mixes up the lines in the 2nd. He might have just made some changes to get some players that sat during the PP and PK's.

lol I'm not watching the game cuz of Finals, but it's hilarous to see the board's reaction from another Perspective. I mean it's 2-1 guys, shots are 11-8..

You know what would make people like O'Byrne? If he got hold of Lecavalier or Arthyukin and beat the tar out of either of them...or both...at the same time!

He's played 2:48 and managed one hit in that teeny bit of icetime. I'm not sure what you can reasonably expect from him.

Questionable goaltending and intensity level has Montreal down. Have to wonder a little why you are giving your number one goalie essentially the week off with the the xmas break just around the corner.

Kovalev looks very good so far.

I don't quite get the officials. Vinny slashes and then gives Pleks a little spear before the faceoff yet they call a tiny trip 3 seconds later.

O'bryne could replace that bear for Snuggles, the softest brand.

Lol.. why? Because I said he's a #1 goalie? Price is our guy, but Halak is one of the best backups in the league.

I like you, but its just my opinion. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it. I also like sticking up for the "lesser" guys because the big names can do no wrong with our club for the most part around these boards.

PS. Did you miss me saying how weak the first goal was?

It's not only Montreal that plays bad against weaker teams, the Bruins beat the Wings last week.

We played great for the first 10 minutes of the game, but lost our legs after the St-Louis goal. It's always disheartening for a team to see your goalie let in a weak goal. O'Byrne did his job on the goal, he kept St-Louis on the outside which forced him to take a shot from a bad angle. Halak isn't to lame for the second goal that came off Akost's knee I think. I hope they start the second period like the first.

DUH yourself

Seriously there are always temporary line changes after a PK or a PP because we have elements of at least 3 lines playing on the special units.

Easy TTS, it's only the 1st period. Relax or you'll have a heart attack before the end of the 2nd.

Backups often play vs crappy teams, so...

He let in one bad goal, the other one took a wild tip. Let's lay off Halak a little...

It's just funny Nate.

As soon as I read that original post I knew you were going to reply - just makes me laugh.

Anyways.

Looking forward to a better 2nd.

to be a number 1 goalie you need to play 2 good games in a row.
now, tonight is not over but early indication is, he is not on top of his game.

this is his 2nd chance at back to back this year and he is not giving a lasting impression.
