I think people need to relax a bit here. Vinny did not spear plecky, he just pushed him with his stick.

lol..that word makes me laugh.

I think so, but we'll see in the 2nd if Carbo continues to make any changes.

I'm not too worried. The Lightning gave up a two goal lead against an inferior Sabres team, so the Habs should be able to tie it up and win. They are much more talented, they just need to start skating.

Well, when the Habs play against good teams I don't mind if we put up the effort but end up losing. But this team losing against Tampa makes me... ARGH...

Anyway, thanks for worrying about my health

Dude.. these guys play every two days.. give them some rest.. they can't play 60 min. every game.. sometimes, against crap team, they have to play 20 min. only..

now, tonight is not over but early indication is, he is not on top of his game.

this is his 2nd chance at back to back this year and he is not giving a lasting impression.
I agree he hasn't looked great tonight and I also don't think he's our #1. He's a great backup option when Price is hurt, sick, or just needs a rest.

But he's been a #1 in every league he's played in and I don't think the NHL is any exception.

He's still very, very young. We are lucky that Price is so good at such a young age that we forget how young Halak is. The pressure may still be getting to him.

As for rebound control, he's never been overly good at it. It's the biggest weakness in his game. He really needs to work on it.

Which is illegal, and not only that. He did it twice and the ref didn't even flinch.

Exactly, stop panicking guys, 2 period left and we usually play best in the third. Halak looked great on a the first few shots but got shaken up on the St-Louis goal. Let's see if he gets his composure back.

Not worried at all. Habs are going to come storming back.

I agree with PJ Stock about Lecavalier's spear on Pleks in the face-off circle. He said,"If thats me doing that, I get a penalty. You just can't do that!"

Habs ought to send the video to the league's imprimaturs, or whatever they are called. The Ref needs to be called out.

Not that I disagree TTS, but one period doesn't make a game.

Oh and anytime, I like to make sure my fellow Habs fans don't prematurely kick the bucket.

stick in the gut is slashing, hooking, or spearing.

Actually No we don't, the 3rd is the only period we are in the negative in the plus minus.
