for me i would take Tyler Myers off that list he is a tree and gets burned wide too much to be on there, I would replace him with Jared Cowan from Spokane he is just a solid all round defenceman. I would also take Esposito out for Evander Kane who has been on fire so far this year. And I also like Sexsmith over Pickard, with Tokarski you have two goalies that have won Memorial cups and play big under pressure.

As much as I would like to see Deschamps there, his play up to now this year isn't good enough to make the national team. He still have a month to catch up but I currently doubt he makes it.

If he keeps playing the way he is, no way can Mike Murphy not have a good shot at that team.

This is what I like about this year, there is so many goalies that are playing unreal, then theres at least one other goalie that's playing better. Great competition. I wouldn't be surprised if at the camp in December no one scores a goal with the tendies stopping everything.

Dana Tyrell should be on this list. He had a solid camp with Tampa Bay, he's 9th in WHL scoring (only 5 points behind Kane) and 3rd in the WHL with 16 goals so far in 20 games.

I would definitely want nazem kadri , matt ducshene, craig nemisz, and dana tyrell (one of the final cuts on last years team) on the team

on another note: how many of the players eligible currently playing in the nhl do you think will be available for this tourney?

What about...

What about Michael Del Zotto? Thought he would be in for sure - did very well with the Rangers in preseason.

What about Kyle Beach? Surely HC has forgiven him for the "Team Ontario" crack by now?

for reals.. some of you are still putting angelo esposito on your lists? are you kidding? The kid is a coaster, pure and simple. A coach like quinn isn't likely to be easily fooled. He has crumpled under ANY kind of pressure in the past three years... so many prospects have shot past him...

I don't get it..... crap I'd take little jordan weal from the whl over espo
