Redden on the second shorthanded goal was absolutely disgusting. If Redden just boxes out Oduya instead of standing there like a lazy bum that goal never happens.

Yup. I was jumping up and down, when we scored, 11 seconds later, those ass hats across the river score, and all I do is start cursing.

He wasn't much better on the first, pursuing the puck-carrier (Madden) instead of playing the middle of Madden & Pandolfo.

Ultimately WHAT THE **** are we gonna do about these shorthanded goals we keep allowing??

This PP is worse than the last 3 years combined. At least the last 3 yrs we didn't allow many sh goals but this yr it has been a DISASTER!

This team embarassed the hell out of Henrik tonight, what a disgrace.

The Spiderman needs to get at least the next 2 starts, maybe 3.

Worst Ranger on the ice tonight: Redden.

And it's pretty tough to beat out the rest of the team on a night like tonight.

Well, coming from a NYI fan, that was one of the sloppiest games I've seen in.. well.. since yesterday.

Henrik just didn't have it tonight. Leaving your franchise netminder and quite possibly most important player in to get burned like that is bush, sorry. He should have been pulled at 5-1.. Vally goes in and this game could be going to Overtime.

As for late comebacks, man these games are about as sure as a surething now. Any team that goes down by 3 or 4 goals this season seems to get it right back.

Well, what can you do? You've got a really talented team. 5-5 in the last 10.. not really anything to sound alarms over.. things will work themselves out.

That's really it, just a really weird game. At 5-5 I was sure the Rangers would get the go ahead.. instead 3 quick one by the Devils. Sometimes, the team that wants it more..

For what it's worth, Redden was by and far(aside from Henrik) the worst Ranger on the ice. Pansy ass is afraid of doing anything that requires contact.

Anyways, that's about it, I know it doesn't mean much coming from me, but thought I should comment after watching! GL!

8 scoreless power plays. christ.
2 short handed goals
poor defense
missed offensive opportunities

terrible game, entertaining, but terrible.

seeing henke talk after the game is so disheartening. he is so disappointed in himself. man, he really needs a good shut out and some good plays in front of him tomorrow night to rebuild that confidence.

yea man I agree
I feel like they take Lundqvist's presence for granted, and expect him to save them every night.

Atleast when Vally plays, they allow less BS defensive plays. (cept for that 5-2 game)

Could Renney's post game interviews be any more irritating?

I was actually proud of myself after they scored that 6th goal. I was so angry and saw many things in my room I could've hurled and smashed against a wall, but decided to just dig my fingers into the recliners arms I was sitting on. My fingertips feel like they were each forced through a pencil sharpener, but everything in my room is still in one piece.

Its a proud moment for me

LOL, it's good to see that you have a sense of humor. As far as not pulling Lundqvist, I see your point, however he did make a few key stops to prevent the deficit from getting worse. As one astute poster stated earlier, if the Rangers don't close the gap from 5-1 to 5-3 before the end of the 2nd, Vally would've definitely been in. With that being said, there is no way of knowing if he would've done any better than Henke. The swiss cheese defense displayed tonight would've hung any 'tender out to dry.

This may very well end up as a good loss. At least this is one that I'm really not as pissed as I'd thought I'd be.

This may be perfect timing to give Slats the nudge that he needs to make some moves.

Ottawa fans warned us about Redden when we signed him.

The only D-men in the Rangers org that can move bodies in front of the net are in Hartford.

Ranger forwards are not big or strong enough to stop opposing forwards from crashing the net.

I'm a Renney supporter ( getting tougher by the day) but imo for the first time Tom has looked overwhelmed and lost as far as what to do to fix this.

Player personnel aside, if the PP does not get dramatically better all else becomes moot.

Regardless of the score I think the Devils finally matched the intensity and effort the Rangers were putting into these games. The devils were skiddish up until tonight. This is shaping up to be a great battle the rest of the way.

He probably will cry after that crazy game today. My question is why they didn't pull him out after giving up 4 or 5?

Hey, I know what you mean regarding the defense. Hey, at least you don't have a bionic man in net. When he returns, the only thing solid about our defense and goaltending will be DP's hips.

Watching Henrik's postgame conferences after these losses is always horrible. He puts all the blame on himself and he really shouldn't do that.

I'm not a big Drury fan but I thought it was kind of funny in the 3rd period when the ref was lecturing him during a faceoff and the ref was pointing his finger into Drury's face and Drury smacked his finger away haha. Just wondering if anyone else noticed that.

Anyway, horrendous game, horrendous defensive effort.

I bet Henrik bawled his eyes out right after he gave that interview. The poor guy. My teammates would all be running for the hills if I was the only guy out on the ice that gave a damn, except for maybe a couple of players.
