Heard from a rangers fan on the way out tonight...:

Tonight, on my way out of the Prudential Center in shame, I heard the following from a disgruntled rangers fan:

"We were hitting softer than my mom hits my pa. And she's only a buck fifty. With constipation."

^^ahh that aint cool...

I always find it interesting to watch Rangers and 60....you get an idea of how bad guys like Kalinin and Redden are at actually playing defense...just focus on them when they are on the ice

It's funny...Micheleti in the first 5 or so minutes....something like "The Rangers are playing very well in their own zone"

Redden with a real nice -4. Only $6.5MM Per. What a deal.

I think this was an attempt at playing an offensive game and wow did it really show Renney has no clue.
Maybe this shows that with 3 weak links on defense, this team is better equipped to play more of a trap style...A lot of people around here have been screaming for a more offensive minded game plan

kk an OTL then. Perry and Getzlaf are two nasty sobs indeed and Selanne is lethal on the PP.

What stings me so bad is the fact that we got some ass bag that plays for Nashville's AHL team (I'm not even going to type his name) when we had a chance to draft Getzlaf or even herpes boy. It's really painful.

And not to mention; Dustin Brown. Best hitter in the league who's capable of putting up 30 Goals ~ 60+points

Dude I'll drink bleach tonight. Don't tempt me. You're making my eyes bleed when you type stuff like that. Honestly, we could have selected ANY OTHER ****ing player in that first round and had a solid NHL'er. What a joke HUGH JESSIMAN is. They should have known there was a problem when they drafted a guy named HUGH JESSIMAN. I mean come on.

Well I just got home and must say when we scored that 5th goal, it was definitely the most effing awesome feeling ever, the place was going absolutely crazy. Too bad that feeling only lasted about 4 seconds.

Prolly took a second or two to settle in, three to four seconds of debate on how the hell an NHL goalie could let that in, which basically minimizes the enjoyment in seconds to about 5.

The Rangers have officially given up one more goal than they have scored.

The fact that they are 9 games over 500% is magic. Pure magic....

exactly....most teams can lift their play when someone doesnt play well....hank shouldnt be needed every night to stand on his head in order for the rangers to win

actually i look at it just the opposite. A team that can keep the pressure going in the offensive zone puts pressure off of the D.

Exactly. I can't help but feel like part of the reason the defense hasn't looked so hot is because its under pressure all the time.

Another unmentioned stat here is that the Devils had 4 SHOTS IN THE THIRD PERIOD....3 GOALS. How does this happen?

Was at this game....easily the most bizarre game Ive ever been to. Everytime the Devils had a chance you just knew they would score, no problem. Turnovers killed the Rangers tonight.

Rangers have to start declining power plays. Seriously now.

If by Hank sucked you mean: "Hank didn't make like Superman and save our team's lazy ***** tonight like he did in the beginning of the season" than yes, I agree, Hank sucked.
