Yes, lets get softer and pick up a player who has 1 goal and 0 assists in 11 games. A winger no less. Exactly what the team needs.

The only player on the rangers that i'd touch is Gomez and even so i'd be reluctant to trade

Have you guys ever heard of this thing called the salary cap?? Drury is good but at 7 mill cap hit the rangers can keep him! That's probably the worst contract in the league.

You're right, although Briere's might beat his...Still the thing is Drury averages maybe 60 pts a year and he's getting paid 7M a year. I realize he has leadership and comes up big in the playoffs, but it's like if Saku Koivu was getting 7M a year. Imagine how insane the reaction would be if Gainey gave him that.

Geez... you have to start watching games and reading papers...NYR basically would pay anyone to take Rozival and Kalinan I think he is second worst in the NHL in +-

kalinin was good in Buffalo but he's horrible so far.

I'd take Staal/Dubinsky any day but that's about it on the NYR roster for me.

I wonder where BG was when Zherdev was traded to a decent dman and a below average dman.

Zherdev was a headache in CBJ, it's not really his type of player. Tho you could argue Kovy is a bit of the same.

I'll bite: Who exactly do you think Montreal could have offered that would have been the equivalent of Fedor Tyutin?

Any difference between Zherdev and SKost,AKost,Lang,Kovalev,Plekanec,

They are all the same....soft Euros

NOW look at Philly and Boston.....Boston has 1 Euro in their top 9 and Philly has 0
You could argue Detroit has many Euros but guys like Holmstrom and Franzen are huge and play a NA style game

Habs only have a soft Frenchman and an injury prone American in the top 9

I would take Dubinksky as well, other good players like Gomez are paid way to much and wouldnt fit under our cap anyway.
