GDT: Preds Vs. Flyers (3/3)

Im suprised that no one has started this yet.

Preds have played pretty well against skilled teams this season. Philly has been terrorized with injury.

Im looking for a Preds win.

That's because we don't want to jinx them.

Big game tonight, will be interesting to see how the boy play.

We can handle them, let's kick some butt take some names and score some goals, all while TV makes some spectacular saves.

Why isn't Vokoun playing?

I guess Trotz is trying to go for the "sure thing" against the Pens by saving Vokoun...

(no offense to the Penguins as I still love them for being the first team I won the cup with on NHL94 back when I first got addicted to Hockey)

i hope the preds took notes tonight...because the flyers illustrated that playing a physical game and finishing your checks translates to points. we got pushed around the entire game, and the first two goals couldn't be blamed on mason, either. our defense stinks, and schnabel and hutchinson aren't going to cut it. something needs to be done, or these high-level teams are going to burn us every time. extremely frustrating.

Boooooo! We sucked. Too many turnovers, bad passes, too soft.

Too little, too fricking late! Out played, out hit, out worked.

Question: Why is it that when we play a team with a #1 or very high rated PK we rack up PP goals? But then when we play a team with a very low or last rated PK, we can barely even get set up for a shot on the PP?

And why the hell was Mason playing tonight? Why not save him for tomorrow?! Vokoun is playing well, Philly is a #1 team, why not play Vokoun? Then Mason plays tomorrow and Vokoun can still have 2 days off going into Ottawa.

And if this team thinks they can play like this tomorrow and get an automatic win, they are sadly mistaken. Penguins are playing well lately, 2-1-1 their last 4 games, and rookie Ryan Malone with 20 goals this year. They’ve been out playing the other team and working hard for nothing but experience. Laugh at that thought all you want, but Predators better be desperate and not go out there half-assing it at all.

I hope the Preds realize that it's becoming known that; if you hit them, you can beat them. They are going to get hit for the rest of the season. Now, will they just take it, or will they start hitting back? Hopefully the latter!

kinda funny how Brashear wanted Stevenson all night but when McKenzie was out on the ice he wanted no part of him.
