ok i agree that the calls were actually penalties in the rule books but the reason i am angry is i counted at least 5 hold in the stick penalties on the canes, pleks got tripped after a faceoff in front of the ref no call. the breaks his stick on the boards which is an automatic panalty and no call. then 2 canes jump hamerlik after the hit on stall no penalty. we deserved some calls but so do the canes and so far they have 0 calls. minus the penalty shot.
this is shameless. On the bright side, such a blatant injustice could just be the thing to pull us together as a team. Hell, imagine if we won the game. I hope Carbo goes ******* in the press conference. Hell, I'll personally start a fund to pay for his fine if he says what needs to be said.
HEY! i just figured it out. Carbo paid the refs to do this. It's a trick to get us to appreciate OUR powerplay and stop being such useless douches on it

this is getting too much, the o'byrne penalty on ruutu was a dive, the latendresse trip was complete bs, tanguay's penalty was for getting knocked down and the player tripping over him, and kovalev's slash with 1 sec left was pansy like by the refs...come on...ridiculous reffing
So the referees on the ice in Carolina didn't see that, nor did the Video Replay officials in Toronto, with all of the angles?
Or did they *both* see it and refused to call due to a complicated conspiracy against the Canadiens?

No conspiracy they are all idiots. If you take math and geometry into the equation and Markov hits the puck near his crest and you look at where the crest is on Markov near the net then it shows it below the crossbar. Instead they look at how far Markov is away from the net and it gives a false judgment of trying to figure if the puck is above or below the crossbar. I saw where Markov hits the puck next to his body and that part of his body is below the crossbar.
Can you honestly say that the refs are calling this game evenly? Fair and unbiased?
Mooks, I'm not suggesting that 11-0 in penalties isn't a little bit absurd.
But I think it's ridiculous to blame the referees for blatant fouls by Montreal being called as penalties.
If people in here were incensed that things Carolina were doing weren't being called, I could agree, and relate.
But when Latendresse slew-foots the Carolina defenseman right in front of the referee, and the board is filled with people blaming the OFFICIAL instead of Latendresse, you have to seriously doubt the ability to follow the game by a lot of posters here.
The fact of the matter is, for the most part, those are all penalties. Don't blame the refs, blame the damn team for playing like a bunch of idiots.
Now, if you won't to complain about the absurdity of Montreal not getting a powerplay of their own, then I'm more then willing to engage in that conversation.
OKay i get mad when the habs lose. I get even more mad when I skip studying for exams and the habs lose. I turn green and split out of my shirt when the habs are losing in a game that is being reffed BRUTALLY
This is probably the most angered that I have ever been watching a hockey game. Some of those penalties were deserved but 11 in a row? Give me a break!!
This game will be so epic if we manage to tie it shorthanded and win in the shootout after killing a 5 on 3 in OT all without getting a powerplay. Please Kovalev, make it happen.

thats what i am thinking. Honestly, i will say it again, i am actually damn proud of this team for still trying to play hockey. I would of started hacking, slashing, and trying to hurt players at this point.
