That was some awkward and ultimately fatal defense from Conner.

Trying to milk a 1-0 lead. Oh well. We'll probably lose now.

Gah. Sydor and Niskanen are terrible. Turco's been very good this game, but the Stars have gone into a great shell here in the third.

I'm hoping Phoenix is satisfied with taking the game to OT here..

Parrish .... you suck.
Dallas players rarely go to the net, and Parrish just blew a great opportunity with Daley crashing the net.

well atleast it looks like Turco won't let up 4 goals tonight
his strong play recently is promising for when the team gets healthy

? You mean who plays LW? I still say Loui.
Yeah, that wasn't clear, sorry.
You said you wished that Neal and Brunnstrom developed chemisty. Right now, Ribeiro is great between them, but when Morrow is healthy, Ribeiro will be on a line with him.
If the Stars keep Neal and Brunnstrom together, who centers them?
I was thinking Modano. That probably means Ott plays with Richards and Eriksson. That line would then play the other teams top line.
Also, I don't think that Tippett would take Eriksson off Richards wing.

Eriksson = Lehtinen. I'm fairly certain of it now.

Sweet pass by Ribeiro and Eriksson worked it in. Too bad Turco couldn't keep the zero earlier.

Kinda cool seeing Sutherby congratulating the guys in the hall along with Lehts and Robidas.
And what a goal by Loui. Realized that his first shot wasn't going to cut it and corrected himself in mid-air. Awesome.

^^^^^^ Sutherby was one of the leaders in washington (assistant captain at a very young age) and has been a great team guy wherever he's gone. doesn't surprise me at all.
right now Dallas has won 6 of their last 10 games. I would say that's pretty good given the roster situation over that time. They just need to keep on winning around half their games until they get healthy again, and they'll be fine.

Not counting the one empty net goal.
In the 3 games without Robidas the Stars have given up four goals or 1.33 a game.

And with Columbus, Ottawa and Toronto next on the Stars agenda, we could very well string together 4 in a row...
who knows by New years we may be in a playoff position...
Wouldnt that be something!!!
