Total Goals: Current Pace

With 87 total goals scored thus far, Habs are on pace to score 237, which I believe is 25-30 less than last year's total.

Projected season individual totals (based on current totals after 30 games):
Kovalev: 16
Lang: 27
Koivu: 19 (assumes he's currently healthy; likely to be less)
Tanguay: 25
AK46: 16
Pleks: 16
Lats: 8
Higgins: 14 (like Koivu, assumes currently healthy; likely less)
AK74: 8

Begin: 11
Lapierre: 11

Most top Flyers have already reached those goal totals

This is partly counterbalanced by the fact that they're headed for 202 goals against, which is 14 fewer than last year...

Since you brought them up, Philly is almost bleeding goals against -- 2.97 per game which is a whopping half a goal a game more than Montreal.

30 games into a season you get an estimate of an approximate point total at the end of the season, but don't base too much on it. It's nice to look at, but if our pp clicks at a rate of 20-25% like it did last year I bet that's will fix these totals up.

If the PP gets going ... it would change these numbers A LOT . 5 on 5 , we are playing like gods compared to last year... I prefer playing better 5 on 5 and struggling on the pp, than having a ****** 5 on 5 game , and having the best pp in the league ...

I'm sure that tanguay, kovy , lang, plek will score 20 + , and maybe a.kos and koivu too...

we have until the playoffs to fix the pp ... chill out man. its all about peaking at the right time...

We were actually better at 5 on 5 scoring last season than this season.

This season is still young though.
