I understand it. Tippett figures his team can't score on the powerplay anyway, so why waste minutes for his top players? Makes perfect irrational sense.

Lots of empty seats there - what have your attendance numbers been lately? we're lucky to hit 13,500 on a weeknight

Not sure that was the smartest thing for Barch to do.... he could only really lose momentum there.

Barch could be going to talk to Neal. I've seen in the past, rookies starting fights or getting into fights, and then on the very next faceoff the team boxing coach gets in a fight just to go talk to the kid in the penalty box. Or in this case, the locker room.

I'm just as impressed as anyone in his skills, but I'd still like to see him get some support in the goal scoring department.

The way this game is going, I don't think Dallas holds them to 2 goals. If that's the case, I hope Brassard gets in on an assist. I don't think he's every really been a fighter, and he probably won't try his hand at it for a while.

The Gordie Howe Hat Trick would be a nice little accomplishment for him.

That said, here’s to Neal scoring a Gordie and Eriksson notching his first hat trick. Maybe it could be a natural.

Nice Nisky!

How great would it be if he could become a PP mainstay and get Modano off the point...

Yeah... the goal scoring is almost secondary. He's extremely solid in pretty much every facet of the game. He's definitely the Stars' MVP and their most consistent player.
