The Gordie Howe Hat Trick would be a nice little accomplishment for him.

That said, here’s to Neal scoring a Gordie and Eriksson notching his first hat trick. Maybe it could be a natural.
Called it!!!

Naw, I think Hitchcock will ride LeClaire for all 60 minutes. I don't think they want to burden Mason heavily.

Can't believe Leclaire didn't cover that one up....

Good job by Joel to drive the net with the puck and then Rich for sticking with the play and having the sense to know where the goal's at.

I know the refs have been ticky-tacky with these hooking calls, but they should really start officiating the late hits and hits to the back. Someone is going to get injured.

Nice hit by Barch on Nash... also inadvertently foils Nash's ensuing rush.

Indeed.

A safe prediction would be that Tampa turns their season around a bit and it coincides with Halpern's presence.

Heika is reporting that Brassard is out of the game because of injuries sustained in the fight.

I like seeing a guy get beat down, but it's disappointing that he was actually hurt. I hope he doesn't have a long injury layoff.

Oh look ... there's Barch getting beat up. Haven't seen that before.

I wouldn't say Barch got beat up...

Voracek goes after Niskanen for some reason. Seems Nisky always becomes a target in these types of games for some reason.

I would love to see Halpern/Jokinen/Smith turn it around. However, I don't think I could ever root for a team with those owners.

Barch's hand looked bad after that fight. Maybe figuring out the next healthy scratch won't be so difficult.
