Whatever you might think about who zoomed who first (or last) between Sundin and the Leafs, I think he still has some gas in the tank and represents a one or two season upgrade for the Canucks who could sure use a top of the line centre and did have the cap room. Unfortunately for them, it still seems unlikely that this will propel them past Detroit and San Jose when the rubber meets the road in the spring. Unfortunately for the Senators, one of their upcoming opponents just got better but it could be worse; the Senators would be seeing more of him if he had gone to the Rangers.

Atta boy Mats!
ROFL.
I'm just glad it's over finally. Sundin is so annoying.

I would have no problem changing my tune being paid 5-6 million for half a season of work.
I always thought the Canucks was the best fit for him. with Luongo in net, a solid defence, the Sedins on one line and him on another, Vancouver has to be one of the favorites to win it all. Good for them.
