Habs do get outworked way too often by visiting teams and oddly enough, most of those teams who outwork us are below us in the standings when they do. Trap games indeed.

Maybe it's just my computer, but I think the online feed (adthe or whatever it's called) stopped working for me.

Once again the fourth line is Montreals best. its not saying much in that first but another recurring theme.

I am thankful for the feed, but cannot understand a single word they are saying...... As long as the Habs win, I don't care what language the broadcast is in.

I'm sorry but its about time Plekanec wakes the **** up.

Kovalev was the habs best forward in this first period and has been playing well lately, but Plekanec has been asleep since last april.

I'd like to see Dags with Kovalev for a couple of shifts. Are you reading this, Carbo? Throw anyone else you like on the line with them...

Have they played together yet?

Too bad for the Brisebois' goal, it killed the momentum. Is there anyone in Hamiltom who can replace old Breezy cause he stinks up the joint big time and the more tired he gets the worse he will play.

They were skating good out there before Buffalo scored, then they stopped skating. Got to start skating again.

It's only 1-0. I always thought that 1-0 was the second most futile score that was possible in the game, after 0-0. How often does a game finish 1-0? How likely are you to be shutout, really?

It's the first team that has 2 goals that gets the real lead.

Breezer has been great lately, and one bad play you want him gone?

Habs gotta wake up and start outworking the Sabres 'cause they won't win it on talent alone missing Saks/Higgs/AKost. Not too many real good scoring chances for Mtl, the PP had better be on tonight when/if they get a PP opportunity. This is going to be a tough game to win.

Agreed, at this point I'd rather have Grabs (if he wasn't such a pisser) than Pleks ... Plekanec really does seem to be playing scared.

Why does Carbonneau refuse to forecheck teams? The habs are a very good forechecking team but they refuse to do it like 75% of the time and play that F#$%^ing 1-4 trap that puts them(instead of the opposition) to sleep.

Why limit yourself to only scoring off the rush? get in there and pressure their defense, keep them hemmed in. every time Buffalo has the puck in their end, we're luck if we have one guy in, the other 4 are usually at the red line. I wouldn't mind as much if we were actually a decent trapping team, but we suck at it...all that happens is that we give them the red line and they end up in our zone with possesion.

Does Carbonneau think that if he wins games 4-1 and 5-2 that he'll be seen as a bad coach? The trap stopped being the "way to go" about 4 years ago.

Maybe the Habs think that lulling Miller to sleep will be the key to scoring some goals. Whenever we pelt a goalie and keep him on his toes, he shuts us down and we botch all the great scoring chances before giving up a **** goal on our end. No more 2-1, 3-1 home losses please. I'd say the first goal is huge, but we've lost games where we lead 1-0 too. We only lost 4 games in regulation last year where we scored first, but we've likely lost as many as those already this year.

In order to outwork them we have to start skating instead of having 4 guys lined up at the red line trapping. We are a speed/skill team trying to play a trap game it it simply doesn't work...I thought Carbo figured it out 2nd half of last year but the last 5-6 weeks he's back to trapping 50-60% of the time or more.
