Immonen is the wild card of the group.

He reminds me of Zetterberg but his desire to come to north america remains a big "?"

however i think this youth movement is going to help get guys like Lundqvist over here, now that they actually can see a light at the end of the tunnel.

1. Why the He// did Jarkko just sign an extension with Finland? Maybe we can get him out of it just because money talks.... I hope your right about Zetterberg-type talent. You see him as a def NHL player?

2. Why does Helminen look like the fat kid that always got knocked out 1st in dodge ball?

Def. NHL player no. Talented NHL calibre prospect, yes.

To me he represents why I've never been a huge european prospect fan. They often have great talent but so many times the other variables make them much bigger headaches. That's usually the risk you run when you start going cross culture.

With all these european kids, i'll be perfectly happy to take a couple of western canadian kids this june.

Cam Barker come on down. Andrew Ladd, come on down.

It's hard to believe that they are talking about the same players as the Newsday article...

Perhaps he didn't think that he'd get NHL playing-time with the Leafs. Now that he's Rangers property and we're officially 'rebuilding', maybe he'll reconsider and JYP wouldn't mind some extra $$$...
