i say renneys got somethin up his sleave tonite. no sundin so hes gotta change it up on the fly which isnt his strong suit. i feel hes been saving this for the right time and tonites the night folks.

well, weve heard of "5 in the box"

tonite its "5 in the crease" as renney takes conservative, defensive play to a new level.

renney will have all 5 players in the net. hank will be in front and behind will be girardi, mara, voros and staal. 4 together. in a row. blocking the net. with hank in front making saves.

hank will stop 182 shots tonite. mara will be decapitated and voros will have a puck imbeded in his crotch.

the game will be 0-0 after regulation and shots will be 240 to 0.

we will win it in the shootout after round 45 when the sharks just give up.

or....

we will lose 3-1 to a sharks team thats angry and lookin for blood.

one of those 2 scenerios is my bet.....

Not gonna happen.

They will never let Hank stray that far from his own goal to fit 4 guys behind him.

I hope they have some sort of lag.

If we can take a single point out of this game it is an incredible victory.

Rangers has had 2 days off, but they did spend the first night with this year's rookie dinner.

I know, I just indicated that the Rangers are on a road trip, and possibly nursing nursing a hang over

this should be a great "measuring stick" match. The Sharks are by far the best team in the league and the result will pronounce one of two things; whether we're a fluke or we truly live up to our record.

I think we're looking at a let down game, the Sharks are going to come out looking to prove to themselves that their last game was a fluke.

Renney's "Reel them in" theory is going to blow up in his face against this Sharks team.

Same Detroit being tied at 2-2 with the Kings asks you to forget about that one

Kings are a very good team, just a bit too young, and terrible goaltending. They outplayed the Rangers amazingly, and still lost. Detroit is the best team in the NHL.

The Rangers win this game, because the Sharks are way overdue for a home regulation loss. (Law of averages)

Rangers 4, San Jose 3 Final

Rangers score 3 goals in 1st period: Drury, Redden, Korpokoski
Sharks answer with 2 in the second.
Rangers and Sharks trade 3rd period goals: Voros

Then you don't watch DRW night after night

Their D's is almost as bad as Rangers', they just score more goals and save their wins that way.

They should be the best team, but they sure haven't shown that yet.

But I still say that it will come down to how this games starts.

If the Sharks can get a nice lead, they'll win.

If not, they'll tank, crumble and fall over.

True, I don't watch the wings, night after night. I'm kind of shocked as to how badly complaints have been about there Defense. I heard Rafalski has been stinking up the place badly.

If NY can get a forecheck going, they'll have a chance. Blind dump ins, waiting to capitalize on an error, and shooting wide 90% of the time won't cut it tonight.

Regarding San Jose, California: In the early 1980s, a leaking underground storage tank filled with trichloroethane, a solvent suspected of causing reproductive and developmental problems, was found to be contaminating the drinking water of 65,000 people near a semiconductor plant.

Just read through the Sharks board...

They seem way overconfident. People are calling 6-1, 7-0, 6-3 blowout wins for the Sharks.

And Kronner, and Stuart and even Lids.

Everyone has been playing below their normal standards, except Lebda who has played as expected (and paid for) and Lilja, of all people, playing better than expected (he's only been falling over for no obvious reason once or twice).

Basicly the same team that steam rolled their way to last years SC, with Dallas Drake replaced with Marian Hossa ...

It's like watching a perfectly fine Ferrari firing on 9 cylinders.

As being a fan of both Red Wings and Rangers, just guess how many bad dreams I've had of bad D

Why won't sharks attack lawyers?

Professional courtesy.

Another and that's it:

Why don't Sharks eat Clowns? Because they taste Funny.

This for sure won't happen. I'm calling for a 3-1 victory, but then again I'm biased.

I would not be at all shocked if this game goes to OT.
