Crosby has a lot of talent, but I don't think he'll have the amazing career that everyone though he would have due to injury. I'm going to go with Evegni Malkin.
I don't know how to describe it, but there is just a special factor that Crosby has that I haven't seen in anybody in the last 5 years. There seems to be an internal drive there that just can't be matched.

Glad they are both on the team I am a fan of. I went with Sid though...it was a hard decision since I like both but I like the way Malkin flies out on the ice, you just feel like he is going to do something amazing when he is out on the ice. Sid is just a force of nature when he is on his game.
Both are already great hockey players at a young age. It feels like Malkin is stronger both physically and mentally though. I think Malkin will do better in the playoffs after some more experience.
Personally I think it was wrong to give Crosby the C at such a young age. To me leadership has alot to do with experience, now when things arenīt going so well for the team itīs alot of pressure on Crosbys shoulders and he also have this posterboy for the NHL/choosen one image to live up to.
I love Sid, but Malkin has always had to play second fiddle to Crosby, and has proved the past 2 years that he is the better player. But the best part of having these two on your team, is pretty much having two 1st lines. It doesn't matter which sequence the lines are on paper, they both get roughly the same amount of playing time and produce exceptionally well. But I don't mind how Malkin and Crosby are on the same line currently.
If we can land a St. Louis at the trade deadline, much like we did for Marian last year, we should be able to ice an awesome lineup heading into the post-season. As for now, I think we can maintain a very dangerous lineup once we get healthy.
It's Crosby, I mean the guy has been playing like crap and he's still in Malkin's league. It's a tight one though, but when both are playing at the peak of their games I want Crosby over Malkin.
Wow, it looks really fun jumping on the Malkin bandwagon this year. I'll pass. Elite player no doubt, but no matter how flashy I still haven't seen enough to make me think that he is actually a better hockey player than Crosby. A fully healthy Crosby simply brings you more (not necessarily points... meaning goals and assists) than Malkin, plain and simple.
