I don't see the pic(at work) but the best I ever saw from kovalev was 3 years ago after the lockout,we beat the Sens in shootout that night,if I remember correctly he had 2 goals and 1 assist and also got his 700 career point. It was a great night,a great game and more a great show,to bad he can't do it every night

I still love you Kovy even if I'm really hard on you

I was a video of when Tucker tried elbowing him and about 20 seconds later Kovalev steam rolled him.

The other video is when Vinny Lecav elbowed him and Kovy went right after him.

If there is 1 thing I've noticed about Kovalev...
Elbow + Head = Incredible Hulk.

The play last year against the Bruins when he picked up his glove behind the net while keeping possesion of the puck was epic!

Kovalev is still a force. He creates chances everytime he's on the ice (sometimes for the opposition though). Last year he didn't turn it on until the latter part of the season and, while I don't know the stats I think he's ahead of last year to this point and that's without nearly as much PP production. He's a frustrating player for sure but he gets an unbelievable amount of grief from many poster on this board. If the PP gets going, and I think it will, Kovy, Tanguay and Markov will all have greater than 70 points and maybe more than 80. Kovy really hasn't gone anywhere, the chances are there but we probably lead the league in posts. There isn't one team in the league that doesn't respect and fear what he can do.

Not bad considering he probably only has about half the PP points.

Last year was a gift from God I tell you... I truly got to appreciate a force on the ice, night after night and it makes me yarn for more. Sad is that he probably won't ever be as dominant but Kovalev is still my favourite player, nothing can change that.
